Sarah & Brian: Savannah Wedding Photography

Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum wedding.

Mighty Eighth Air Force Museum wedding.

Sarah and Brian met in 2007 while studying at Georgia Tech in Atlanta. They are one of the easiest and definitely the most low-key couple I have ever worked with. They are the kind of couple who would prefer to spend the day walking their dogs or riding their bikes rather than being the center of attention at their wedding. While many brides would have been a bit upset about the pre-ceremony rain, Sarah had an amazing “everything will work out perfectly” attitude that made for a stress free wedding day.

The wedding and reception were both held at the National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force. We had planned for a “first look” in the garden but when mother nature had other ideas for us they were perfectly accepting of the change to the inside of the museum. Amazingly enough the sky cleared before the beautiful chapel ceremony and the garden made a wonderful backdrop for a few portraits before going to the reception. So while everything worked out to allow us to capture all of the photos we wanted it is always nice to work with a couple that is able to adapt when plans have to change.

Congratulations Sarah and Brian! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day.

President Street Boat Ramp: Savannah Scenes

justin bradley

Savannah has so many beautiful places to visit. Many spots are in plain view as we drive past each and every day. The boat ramp on President Street is one of those spots that I like to visit and explore when I can. It is always changing and I like to stop in and see what is new and different. I have photographed lots of great scenes during my visits, from derelict boats to old bottles there is always something to see.

Jessica & Daryl: Tybee Island Engagement Photography

Jessica and Daryl 1

St. Patrick’s Day is a special day in Savannah. While many take the opportunity to party it up in a sea of green the true meaning of the day is more about faith, love, and family than about green beer and leprechauns.  I can’t think of a better way to spend a St. Patrick’s Day Sunday than photographing a couple’s love. Jessica and Daryl were engaged at Christmas when Daryl tied the ring to an ornament on the tree. Jessica and Daryl made the trip to Savannah to visit her family and enjoy the St. Patrick’s Day parade, so the timing worked out perfectly for an engagement session on Tybee Island. We had a great time exploring the south end of the island and getting to know one another. Congratulations, I can’t wait to photograph your wedding next March!
