Claire & Drew: Folly Beach Wedding Photography

Claire and Drew met while taking an English Composition class at Texarkana College in the fall of 2003. They began dating soon after and their love has grown since. In 2004, Claire was accepted into the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. She moved to Fayetteville in August, and Drew followed shortly after. Then in 2012, they began their wedding planning, and moved back home to Texarkana.

Claire and Drew fell in love with Folly Beach and the Charleston area, and decided that it would be the perfect spot for a destination beach wedding. They had a beautiful ceremony on the beach followed by a reception at Tides Folly Beach Resort. Several family members and close friends were able to make the trip to South Carolina for the festivities. I’m so honored to have captured their special day, and have a little Charleston getaway myself.

Celebrating Dad: Savannah Wedding Photography

Nothing beats the bond often shared between a father and daughter, especially on a wedding day when dad is about to give his little girl away. Since it is Father’s Day, I couldn’t help but reflect on some of the special moments I have captured over the past year.

Happy Father’s Day to all of the dads out there!

Karin & Jason: Tybee Island Wedding Photography

Nothing will make a bride stress like a tropical storm passing through the area days before her beach wedding. Fortunately Tropical Storm Andrea had very little impact on Tybee and when the skies cleared it created a beautiful day for Karin and Jason’s north beach ceremony. Karin and Jason, who are from Illinois, began dating shortly after meeting at a rugby party, and the rest is history. They had visited the area before and decided that Tybee Island would be the perfect location for a vacation, wedding, and honeymoon all rolled into one.

Congratulations Karin and Jason! Hope you enjoyed your stay on Tybee as much as we enjoyed meeting you and being a part of your wedding.
