Fall Family Mini Sessions

Change is sometimes scary, but it can also be amazing! Photos by Rich Burkhart has gone through quite a few changes and growth over the past few years. Our wedding business has been a tremendous amount of fun and has definitely kept me busy. With weddings scheduled for nearly every weekend throughout the spring and fall it has become more and more difficult for me to fit in family sessions. We love family photo sessions and want to continue to provide the best experience possible for all of our wonderful clients.  So I am super excited to welcome Dominique Cook to the Photos by Rich Burkhart family!

Dominique is a mom and experienced photographer. She will be helping out with our family photography and will be able to work with you and your schedule. We have a wonderful opportunity coming up for you to meet Dominique. We are currently scheduling Fall Mini Sessions for Saturday October 14 at Forsyth Park. The 30 minute sessions will be perfect for getting a head start on holiday cards and gifts. Each session will be $250 and includes a $75 credit toward your holiday purchase.

Email rich@photosbyrb.com for more info on our Fall Mini Sessions and feel free to email Dominique, info@photosbyrb.com, to say hi or schedule a family session.

Whitney and Kevin: Savannah Portrait Photography

whitney-and-kevin-blog-14

The fall in Savannah is a magical time for this photographer. Cooler nights give way to warmer days, which creates a beautiful morning filled with gorgeous light and a natural haze. Whitney and Kevin have been married for 15 years, but I would never have guessed that this was their first professional photo session. They are such a sweet couple and just so comfortable and natural together in front of the camera. We had an amazing time enjoying the beautiful Savannah morning with them.

Deja Vu and Some Gorgeous Light Too

Paige and Alex blog-14

It was Déjà vu! As I made the drive along the causeway to Jekyll Island, the rain drops dotted my windshield and dark clouds loomed over head. I flashed back exactly one year to that same feeling of “I hope this rain clears out soon”! In 2015 I was on my way to document Paige and Alex’s beach wedding. This time I was meeting them for a first anniversary session. By the time we arrived at the historic Horton House ruins the rain had stopped. Much like their wedding day, Mother Nature gave us a beautiful evening for photos.
