Savannah is an ideal location for destination weddings! Often the first time we meet a destination wedding couple in person is on their wedding day. Thanks to my years of photojournalism experience, I am able to build an instant connection with couples. We met Erika and Jeff in Greene Square for their First Look and had immediate chemistry with them. We knew that not only were they an adorable couple, but we were going to have a great time documenting their day! With backgrounds in theater arts and dance, these two are amazingly creative and charismatic. This was obvious in the reception entertainment and special bottles of rye whiskey as wedding favors.
Following the couple’s sweet ceremony in the atrium of the Marshall House, the party shifted to the restaurant and bar for the cocktail hour. Colleen and Zach, from The Accomplices, entertained the guests before turning the show over to the groom. Jeff was accompanied by his friends Rob and Jamey as he sweetly serenaded his bride with a trio of songs. The entertainment continued during the reception as Erika and Jeff performed a dazzling first dance. Throughout the night, the guests were going strong on the dance floor as they enjoyed the beats from DJ Devon.
Congratulations Erika and Jeff! We had an amazing time getting to know you as we documented your day.
