St. Michael’s and Mighty Eighth Wedding

I hit it off with Renee and Dareus the first time we met! They are such a sweet couple and have been such a pleasure to work with. I knew from their romantic engagement session that their wedding was going to be amazing! They chose to have their First Look at Atlantic Park, which was absolutely perfect! Rev. Kevin Kelly presided over a beautiful ceremony, which was held at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church. Following the ceremony we all made our way to The National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force for fun filled evening of celebration and dancing.

Congratulations to Renee and Dareus! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your day!

Adorable Marshall House Elopement

The Marshall House is a beautiful venue and one of our favorites! While I have had the opportunity to document several weddings and receptions there I have never been on the porch overlooking Broughton Street. That finally changed for Savannah and Trey’s elopement. This sweet couple was married on the porch by Rev. Steve Schulte as they held their adorable boy, Easton.

We had such a wonderful time walking and chatting with them as we captured some gorgeous photos of them following the ceremony. Congratulations Savannah Trey! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your special day!

Four Weddings in a Week Without Missing a Beat

One of the best parts of being my own boss is having the ability to take off and spend time with my son. Of course things like his daycare’s spring break often fall within our busy time. So how do we photograph three elopements and a full wedding all in the same week and get all of the editing done and photos delivered within just a few days? Oh and did I mention that I spent my days hanging out with my son doing fun things like fishing?  First of all I have a super amazing assistant that has worked with me for a couple of years and learned my editing style. Together we have streamlined our process so that we can edit, fine tune, and deliver all of the final photos in a fraction of the time many photographers offer. While some studios choose to outsource their editing, I feel that it’s an important part of our process for me to finalize every image myself before uploading the client gallery.

Having a wonderful assistant and an efficient process allowed me the freedom to take my silly and rambunctious boy to the beach for his first fishing trip. It also allowed us to deliver some gorgeous photos to every one of our clients within days of their big day, rather than weeks.
