2017 Best of Engagements and Proposals

Today we celebrate our Best of Engagements, Proposals, and Couples for 2017! We are so blessed to live in such a beautiful city. I love nothing more than getting to know a couple as we walk through Savannah’s historic streets, but we also love to explore new photo destinations and travel! During 2017, we visited so many beautiful locations, including Hilton Head, Tybee Island, St. Simons, Jekyll Island, and St. Augustine. We look forward to even more adventures in 2018!

Congratulations to those who were engaged during 2017 and thank you all for allowing us to be a part of your journey!

Kendall and Michael: Jekyll Island Engagement Photography

Jekyll Island is such a beautiful location for an engagement session! We recently met Kendall and Michael there while they were visiting Sea Island to make final plans for their wedding. We had such an amazing time exploring the beautiful grounds at the Jekyll Island Club before heading over to Driftwood for a little fun in the trees! Kendall and Michael were such a pleasure to be around. They were both so laid back, though Kendall does have an affinity for climbing trees.

It was such a joy to spend a little time getting to know them as we shared in the beauty of the Golden Isles. We can’t wait for their wedding in just a few short weeks!

Jekyll Island Driftwood Beach Proposal

Surprise proposals are a whole lot of fun! Take it from a guy who has been there, they can also be pretty stressful. Just trying to pick the right ring, the perfect location, and the most romantic words are difficult enough, but on top of all of that timing is everything. Dalton contacted me a few weeks ago with his plans to propose to Ellie during their visit to the area. After some consideration he decided on Jekyll Island. As luck would have it Mother Nature decided that we needed rain on the day he choose so we found a clear window of time and moved the proposal up a couple of hours, which worked perfectly for everyone.

Congratulations to Dalton and Ellie! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of such a special moment.
