Christian and Kylie: Wormsloe Plantation Proposal

Surprise proposals are always fun! It’s such a challenge to stay inconspicuous and not seem like a stalker or give away the surprise. When I spoke with Christian about his plans to propose at Wormsloe, we decided that I would be taking photos in the area and offer to take a photo of everyone. As I was photographing Christian and Kylie he got down on bended knee and proposed. It was the perfect surprise!

Congratulations Christian and Kylie! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of such a special moment!

Forsyth Fountain Proposal

I love surprise proposals! Each time I’m in my position awaiting the big moment I can’t help but remember how nervous I was when I proposed to my lovely wife. It always helps me to think back and re-experience the power and importance of that moment. When Robert called me and explained what he was planning I couldn’t help but to be excited for him! A romantic weekend in Savannah topped off by surprising his girlfriend with a proposal at the Forsyth Park fountain. The moment was absolutely perfect and of course she said yes!

Congratulations to Robert and Cherith! Thank you allowing us to be a part of such a special moment!

A Beautiful Forsyth Park Proposal

Surprise Proposals are super exciting and can be very stressful! Believe me I know from experience just how stressful it can be. James contacted me with his plans to propose while visiting Savannah with his girlfriend Robin. We had originally planned for the early evening at Lafayette Square. However when my wife, Rebecca and I went by the day before to scout it out, we found that half the square was under construction. I took a couple of photos with my phone and sent them to him right away. After some consideration and a few late night emails James decided on Forsyth Park, but was still concerned about how he would get her to dress up for dinner 4 hours early. I recommended that he not worry so much about what they were wearing and just focus on “the moment”.

Everything worked out perfectly! They were staying right off Forsyth Park, so it was easy for them to take their dachshund, Cooper for a walk in the park. Once he got to the designated spot he asked me to take a photo of them with their phone and then I offered to take one with my camera and send it to them. That’s when he got down and proposed! Robin said YES! The sun came out just in time for some gorgeous portraits of the newly engaged couple.

Congratulations James and Robin! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of such a special moment!
